We lived in Banquete 1961-62 when I was about 12 years old. My first job ever was delivering the CC Caller-Times on my bicycle. I remember many of the names but it has been a long time. I now live in Colmesneil, TX near Lake Sam Rayburn. Life is good.

I only went to Banquete one year but I have many happy memories of that year. I was 15, it was my freshman year, and the year was 1960.
Well.... my brother reminded me that we rode out hurricane Carla in the school gym and that was 1961 not 1960.

Class of 1959 I have been blessed to construct 3 orphanages in Kenya. Our present and main home has 67 children; ages 6-18. I travel to Kenya approx. 3 times a year to oversee new construction and check on the well being of the boys and girls. God has b… more »
